Donovan Mitchell named 2026 NBA All-Star Reserve

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland guard Donovan Mitchell has been selected as a reserve for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game in Los Angeles, which is set to tip off on February 15th.

This marks Mitchell’s seventh consecutive All-Star selection and his fourth representing the Cavs.

With this honor, Mitchell joins an elite group of Cavaliers to earn four or more All-Star nods, including LeBron James, Brad Daugherty, Mark Price, and Kyrie Irving.

Mitchell is having a career-best season, currently averaging 29.1 points, 5.8 assists, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.46 steals per game. He has scored 30-plus points in 25 games and 40 or more points five times, while leading the Eastern Conference with 173 made three-pointers.
