Caitlin Clark joined the NBC pregame show before its NBA broadcast on Sunday night.
And during the show, NBA legend Reggie Miller was asked what player currently in the league he would compare to the WNBA superstar he was standing next to.
Let's just say Miller's take didn't exactly land well with Clark.
Miller went with Payton Pritchard, a small guard on the Boston Celtics who is a solid scorer and shooter but certainly not one of the best players on the planet in his sport.

And the best part has to be Clark's face when Miller said Pritchard:

There will likely never be another human being who compares Clark to Pritchard.
This is no offense to Pritchard, but Clark is one of the best women's basketball players on the planet, with range like Steph Curry and passing vision like LeBron James.
There have been few, if any, women's hoopers like Clark, ever.

Pritchard, on the other hand, is a hard-working, undersized guard who makes more plays than you'd expect for a little guy but is frankly nothing like Clark.
Clark's fans surely all made that same face, or worse, at Miller with this comment.
Frankly, shoutout to Clark for being diplomatic and not reacting too poorly, at least on the outside.
Because man, this was quite the take.
