The Lakers superstar continues to defy 'Father Time' as he was named as one of the reserves for the Western Conference All-Stars.
LeBron James is deeply honored and blessed to still be considered among the best basketball players in the world.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar fondly reflected on being chosen as one of the reserves from the Western Conference for the upcoming 2026 NBA All-Star Game.
"Obviously, it’s super humbling," he told reporters on Sunday. "The coaches voted, so mad respect to them for seeing that I’m still playing at this stage of my career. To be able to be an All-Star means a lot to my family and to the people who’ve been following my career and my journey.
"It’s always rewarding, from a humble standpoint, to be rewarded for the work you put in. That was pretty cool."
LeBron officially clinched his 22nd career All-Star nod, extending his record for most selections in NBA history.
And at age 41, he ties Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the oldest player ever selected for an All-Star Game.
The future Hall of Famer missed the first 14 games of the season due to sciatica. Amid being sidelined significantly, James delivered for the Lakers as he is currently averaging 21.9 points, 6.6 assists and 5.8 rebounds in 33.1 minutes across 31 games.
James earned the feat despite his record streak of 21 consecutive All-Star starts being broken.
"To be honest, I really didn’t think about it," James said as he was asked if he thought his All-Star streak would be in jeopardy this season. "It wasn’t a goal of mine coming into the season, missing the first 14 games, to say, 'Okay, I need to do it all.' I just wanted to get back to playing the game at a high level.
"I knew I was capable once I worked the rust off from missing preseason training camp and my summer workouts, which I’d never done in my career. I didn’t really think about the All-Star Game, to be honest."
James will join Doncic as the Lakers' representative for the All-Star Game festivities, which will be held on Feb. 15 at the LA Clippers' Intuit Dome.
