The Jazz are reportedly not expected to make any major move ahead of the Feb. 5 key date.
With just a few days left before the Feb. 5 deadline, the Utah Jazz are reportedly planning to be inactive within the trade market unlike the rest of the league.

According to Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune, the Jazz won't operate such major moves as they aim to continue building around their blossoming core.
"The NBA’s trade deadline is Feb. 5, which means there’s just over a week remaining for the Utah Jazz to make any moves until the offseason. At this point, don’t expect any major ones," Larsen wrote.
"Jazz executives are expecting a quiet deadline period for the team as they move forward in their rebuild — they’re not expected to be major buyers or major sellers in this window."
The Jazz are currently at No. 13 in the Western Conference ladder. They are heading toward another awful season with just 15 wins so far.
But Utah features several intriguing talents beyond franchise star Lauri Markkanen. Keyonte George finally taken a meteoric rise, who is averaging a career-high 24.2 points and 6.6 assists.
Veteran Jusuf Nurkic has been on a tear, as the Bosnian big is tallying 11.2 points, 10.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 1.3 steals.
Despite another losing season and having several potential trade pieces, it appears that the Jazz are confident and committed to their current direction.
