Here is the top Chelsea transfer news that you guys may have missed from icfootballnews….
Long-term Chelsea target Mike Maignan has signed a new contract with AC Milan, ending all speculation suggesting that the Blues could make a late January move for the goalkeeper, or try to get him signed at the end of the season.
CHELSEA are always one of the biggest spenders in most transfer windows and there has been alot more rumours in the media that the club are still looking to add a new stropper to the squad as their is much doubt to the quality of their current goalkeepers at the club.
Much-maligned current No.1 Robert Sanchez has seen his stock rise over the last year or so, but the position is still widely viewed as a weak point that needs to be strengthened, despite his recent performances since the arrival of Liam Rosenior.
The Blues pushed hard to sign Maignan before the Club World Cup in the United States, seeing a lowball €15 million (£13m/$17.5m) offer rejected ahead of the tournament. It was reported at the time that the player was keen on the move, but Milan held firm and the west Londoners didn’t revisit their interest later in the summer
However – Chelsea were keeping a very close eye on the situation of Maignan this season and if he was unable to agree a new contract with Milan, they were reportedly ready to swoop in and finally get their man.
Now they have been handed a blow for any future pursuits, as the goalkeeper, who was set to be out of contract in June, has signed a new four-year deal, with an option to extend a further year

Maignan is one of the best stoppers in the world and a target that CHELSEA really wanted, so now that they have seen him sign a new contract, they will have to search Europe once again for someone to replace Sanchez, as he is not the clubs long-term answer for a top goalkeeper.
There would still be a chance to get Maignan if Chelsea Believe he is the future, but that deal now means a massive offer will only bring him to London.
MADRID WILL SELL CAMAVINGA
There has been some shock reports in the media which have claimed that Real Madrid President Florentino Pérez has decided that the Spaniards will listen to offers for CHELSEA target Eduardo Camavinga.
Fichajes.net claim Florentino Pérez is not happy with all the bad publicity the club have received after the sacking of Xabi Alonso, and the image of the club has accelerated decisions that perhaps would have been postponed to the summer.
Real Madrid will not force exits, but they will listen to offers for Vinicius, Camavinga, Lunin and Fran García at the end of the season. All of them are, from now on, on display in the market, according to reports.
The reading is clear: no one is untouchable if their performance and attitude are not aligned with the demands of the club. Not even profiles that until recently seemed unquestionable.
The board is confident that this pressure will reactivate the group. But if there is no immediate response, the plan involves a profound restructuring as Madrid have a number of targets that they would like to bring to the club in the summer.
Arsenal, CHELSEA and Liverpool have all been linked with a move for the Brazilian in the past and could reignite their interest if he comes onto the market.

We can see why Madrid would want to sell Eduardo Camavinga this transfer window or at the end of next season, he is a player that has been at Madrid for quite a while, but as at times, struggled to live upto the hype surrounding his name.
The Premier League would test him on a weekly basis, he would probably struggle to make any sort of impact in that CHELSEA side if the Blues make a move to try and get a deal done, he would not like the English game.
If he does leave, it will probably be to Saudi Arabia as they can afford to pay his high price and his high wage demands, and to be honest, he has won everything so going there would not be an issue.
But it will be interesting to see where he ends up as there will be a few clubs linked.
JACQUET AGREES TERMS
According to a report from sky Sports reporter Kaveh Solhekol, Rennes Defender Jeremy Jacquet is desperate to complete his move to Chelsea, and has reportedly agreed agreed personal terms over a move to Stamford Bridge.
Rennes star Jeremy Jacquet is reportedly holding out for a transfer move to Chelsea this January window or at the end of the season, despite strong interest from several top teams.
It has been claimed that the player has asked to join CHELSEA, the club have come to an agreement over a deal for the defender and it was only a matter of time before an announcement was made by the clubs hierarchy.
However – in recent weeks the possible move has stalled because Chelsea seemingly do not want to meet the asking price that has been set by the French club, but that does not seem to be the end of the saga.
The Sky Sports reporter has revealed that there could be developments this weekend – He wrote: “Jeremy Jacquet only wants to sign for Chelsea. Personal terms have been fully agreed. Both Chelsea and Rennes are playing on Saturday evening. Expect developments after the games.“
French football expert Julian Laurens recently compared the talented Jacquet to Arsenal star William Saliba: ‘I think he is the real deal,’ Laurens told Sky Sports. ‘I know he’s only 20 and has very little experience, even in Ligue 1 because he hasn’t played for France or in the Champions League or even the Europa League.
‘There’s still a long time to go for him but he’s been impressive since he was recalled from his loan in the second division last season.
‘He’s a player Liam Rosenior will know because he’s played against him and seen him in action. You can’t get it wrong, really, because he is amazing and he is going to be amazing.
‘He reminds me a bit of William Saliba when he burst onto the scene in France at Saint-Etienne.
‘The question is how much do they value the potential and talent because he’s only 20 and you’re paying a lot for someone who hasn’t proved much because he hasn’t played many games.
‘So how much are CHELSEA ready to pay? Rennes want more than Man City paid for Doku which was 64m euros. So Chelsea will need to pay at least £60m which is a lot of money for such a young player.’
