Chelsea have been linked with a move for Real Madrid’s Endrick.
Signed from Palmeiras the Brazilian was tipped as the next big South American star, but struggled for game time in Madrid, racking up less than 100 minutes of senior football in the first half of this season.
They instead chose to loan him to Lyon for the rest of the campaign, and it has proved to be a hugely beneficial move for the player and club, as he has scored four times and assisted once in three games. That included a hat-trick against Metz in Ligue 1 last weekend.
But now Chelsea have decided to put him near the top of their wish list, regarding him as an ideal partner for his former Palmeiras team-mate Estêvão, who has adapted excellently to life in the Premier League.
And with Chelsea ready to offer up to £70 million for a player that might just have a bit part to play at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid might find that hard to resist.
