Newcastle medical permission: Newcastle United have given former captain Jamaal Lascelles permission to travel down for a medical with Leicester City, according to Sky Sports. The 32-year-old defender could now return to the East Midlands over a decade after leaving Nottingham Forest – but one player who won't be leaving is Sandro Tonali as rumours of an approach from Arsenal have been quashed.
Fulham's £32m deal off: Ricardo Pepi will not be signing for Fulham despite agreeing a £32million deal, according to Fabrizio Romano. PSV cannot find a replacement for the United States international, so they cannot proceed with a deal.
Real Madrid reject Bournemouth bid: Bournemouth have seen an offer for Fran Garcia turned down by Real Madrid, according to the Spanish radio network COPE . Madrid are said to want the left-back to stay until the summer, when they could reconsider their stance.
Palace's striker swap: Crystal Palace are planning to swap Jean-Philippe Mateta for Jorgen Strand Larsen before the deadline. Sky Sports says they have a £49million deal with Wolves as a replacement for the Milan-bound Mateta.
Wolves medicals booked: Adam Armstrong and Angel Gomes are having medicals with Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of deadline day moves, according to Sky Sports. The former is due to move as part of a £9million deal, while Gomes would join on loan from Marseille.
Everton agree Chelsea loan: Everton have an agreement in principle to loan Chelsea winger Tyrique George for the rest of this season, with an option to buy, according to The Athletic. The 19-year-old will now travel up to Merseyside for a medical today.
West Ham make latest move: The expectation is that Axel Diasi will join West Ham United on loan during deadline day. Sky Sports reports that the defender wants to stay in the Premier League, ideally in London, and a medical has now been booked for later this morning.
Celtic reject another Forest bid: Celtic have rejected Nottingham Forest's £17.3million bid for Arne Engels and told them that their record signing is not for sale, per Sky Sports. Forest also had an initial £14million offer turned down yesterday.
