Jamie Redknapp reckons the title race is done after Manchester City dropped points again in their bid to reel Arsenal and Mikel Arteta back in.

Pep Guardiola's side went in at half-time against Tottenham with a healthy two goal advantage courtesy of strikers from Rayan Cherki and Antoine Semenyo. However, City imploded in the second half and Dominic Solanke bagged a brace to earn Spurs a share of the spoils.

That damaging second half, coupled with Arsenal's resounding 4-0 triumph over Leeds 24 hours earlier, means City are now six points behind the Gunners - and that's enough of a gap for Redknapp to call the title.

Redknapp told Sky Sports: "Mikel Arteta will have been at home this afternoon watching the two games and thinking, 'I fancy Villa to beat Brentford' - they didn't. Then he would have seen this, second half, thinking, '5-0'. He will be opening an nice bottle of rioja tonight.

"This is it. I think this is the title done now for Arsenal and I think they can go on and win it by eight, 10 points. I would be amazed if they don't.

"They have got the players... I think they had been getting a little bit anxious, the crowd... the connection between the two of them. The manager gets a little bit uptight and I think that transmits to the players. But I think now, they can start to relax a bit and I would be amazed if they didn't go on and win this title comfortably now."

While Redknapp urged Arteta to open a bottle of wine and toast the title early, it's unlikely the Spaniard will be doing so.

Guardiola, too, was not speaking like a manager who believed the title was beyond his side post-match, saying: "We played a really good game in general. At 70 minutes they put more balls in behind, more players there, more players in the middle to attack more direct.

"They found a goal and we know what's happened and after that they had the momentum. The Premier League is like that. We had our momentum again at the end.

"It is a setback but we are still there, we move on and move. There are 14 games to go and a lot of points. We will see."
