Six players Arne Slot could sell to fund a major Liverpool deadline day signing

Andy Robertson: The left-back has entered the final months of his contract and has been heavily linked with a move to Tottenham in this transfer window. With Milos Kerkez solidifying his position as first-choice, Liverpool may opt to accept a fee - reportedly around £5million - instead of losing the defender for free in the summer.

Curtis Jones: Inter Milan have been in talks for a loan move with an option to buy for the midfielder, despite the Reds refusing to do a deal in order to protect squad depth. However, Jones is reportedly keen on the switch to secure more regular minutes and could push for a deal in the coming hours.

Federico Chiesa: The Italian forward has been a rotational player under Slot and could depart Anfield in order to secure a place in his country's bid for the 2026 World Cup. Juventus were a big contender for the veteran star in January, although the Reds may be wary of letting Chiesa go as they could leave themselves short in attack.

Wataru Endo: Endo has been looked upon as a squad player for Liverpool, making just two cup starts for the Reds and coming off the bench in seven Premier League games so far. With interest from Ajax earlier in the window, the 32-year-old defensive midfielder could make a move elsewhere to return to a more important role in the middle of the park.

Calvin Ramsay:Reports have suggested a move is only on for Ramsay if Liverpool complete a deal elsewhere. The Scottish right-back was told indirectly by Slot that the club has "better options" in the position and multiple Championship clubs are on standby to secure a deal for the young defender.

Rhys Williams: The forgotten defender has spent time out on loan in the last few years, playing for Aberdeen, Blackpool and most recently, Morecambe. Liverpool are unlikely to stand in Williams' way if he can secure a deadline day move to another club, likely in the lower leagues of English football.

Potential deadline day target: Roland Sallai's name has emerged as a potential late signing for the Reds in the right-wing area. The Galatasaray winger could provide more firepower and has a market value of between £8m to £10m - but his club are reportedly holding out for a higher offer due to his importance within the squad.
