Chelsea will aim to continue their recent run of good form when they visit Arsenal in the second leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final on Tuesday night.
The Blues were beaten 3-2 by the Gunners in the first leg at Stamford Bridge last month, but have since five consecutiv matches across all competitions.
Chelsea’s last two wins have been particularly impressive, firstly coming from 2-1 down to defeat Napoli in the Champions League, before turning a 2-0 deficit into a 3-2 victory over West Ham United on Saturday.
New head coach Liam Rosenior has so far won six of his seven matches in charge of the Blues, with his only defeat coming against Arsenal in the first leg, but the Englishman will hope to see his side continue their impressive form when they visit The Emirates.
It remains to be seen whether or not the Blues will complete any new signings before the transfer window slams shut on Monday, but in the meantime one young player has departed the club to join a European giant.
The Blues announced on Monday that young midfielder Yahya Idrissi had completed a permanent move to Serie A side AC Milan.
Idrissa, 18, joined Chelsea’s academy from West Ham at the age of 11 and went on to progress through the various age ranks at Cobham.

During the 2024/25 campaign, the Moroccan signed his first professional contract with Chelsea, although he departs having not played for the club at senior level.
In total Idrissi made 26 appearances for Chelsea’s Under-18s, scoring three goals and registering two assists.
The teenager – who primarily plays as an attacking midfielder – will now join up with AC Milan, although it isn’t yet clear whether or not he will be involved with the first team during the remainder of the current campaign.
