Liam Rosenior says Chelsea have a very'rare'player after analysing his data

Chelsea are gearing up for an all-important second leg Carabao Cup clash with Arsenal at the Emirates.

The Blues head into Tuesday’s clash off the back of a 3-2 loss at Stamford Bridge, which saw Alejandro Garnacho single-handedly keep Chelsea in the tie.

Fans will be hoping that’s the Garnacho they get in north London, not the one that was hauled off at half-time against West Ham at the weekend.

One piece of positive news ahead of the game is that Filip Jorgensen could return to action, though it’s unlikely he’ll start ahead of the in-form Robert Sanchez.

Liam Rosenior is upbeat heading into the tie, and has been speaking about how Enzo Fernandez will need to step up on the night after an impressive start.

Who do you PREDICT will step up in Estevao Willian’s absence?🤔

Liam Rosenior is looking to Enzo Fernandez to deliver

Chelsea will be without Estevao Willian for the clash with Arsenal as he’s back in Brazil due to personal reasons.

So the onus is others to step up and really take the game by the scruff of its neck, as more often than not, Estevao has set the tone in the final third.

Enzo Fernandez is one player that Rosenior continues to turn to, and Tuesday night will be no different.

Speaking ahead of the Arsenal clash, he said this on the Argentine (as per Football.London).

“He’s fit. You see him today, arriving in the box in the 92nd, 93rd minute.

“Enzo’s got a rare athleticism which is a gift where he can recover really quickly and his distances that he covers in terms of our data is absolutely top and the quality and the leadership he gives the team and I’m really enjoying working with him.”

Enzo Fernandez is at the peak of his game right now

This season has seen Enzo Fernandez go up yet another notch for Chelsea.

He’s starting to add goals to his game from midfield. His tally now stands at 11 goals and four assists in all competitions, which rivals Joao Pedro.

Even Gary Cahill thinks that Fernandez is morphing into the next Frank Lampard, and he could be right if he continues to contribute in the final third.

But the most important thing is he offers an all-round game. As Rosenior mentions, it’s the way he tracks back and works tirelessly for 90 minutes, as well as his new-found goals.
