Oscar Bobb joins Fulham for in £27 dealNorwegian winger signs five-and-a-half-year deal at Craven Cottage
Oscar Bobb has joined Fulham in a £27m deal, the club confirmed on Friday. The Blues have retained a 20% sell-on clause, as well as matching rights for any future bids for the player.
The Norwegian winger joined the club's academy in 2019, and went on to make 47 appearances for the first-team, scoring three goals. His progress was unfortunately hampered by a broken leg suffered in training at the start of the 2024/25 season.
“I leave City with nothing but amazing memories and I want to thank everyone for their help and guidance during my time here,” Bobb said.
“I have been so lucky to be part of such a special football club and to have experienced so many fantastic moments are experiences I will always cherish.
“I have also learnt so much – not just as a player but as a person too – and for that I’m so very grateful.
“Thank you to everyone – to Pep, the coaches, all my incredible team mates and the fantastic City fans who have been so supportive to me.
“I wish nothing but the best for the Club.”
“Oscar is a fine talent and a player that’s developed a lot on and off the pitch in his six-and-a-half years at City,” Director of Football Hugo Viana added.
“He had a major impact at Under-18s and EDS levels, before stepping up into the first team, where he provided some crucial moments for the Club as we won our fourth title in a row.
“We are really proud of the person he has become – and he is a fine example of the kind of quality player our Academy can produce.
“We look forward to seeing him take the next step in his career and I am sure he can continue growing and developing with Fulham.”
