Liverpool fans have been told that incoming signing Jeremy Jacquet is a superb signing after the Reds managed to beat off Premier League rivals Chelsea for the signature of the talented Rennes star.
LIVERPOOL have been linked with alot of players over the past few weeks, and some big names have been mentioned, but it seems that Jacquet is the clubs number one transfer target and the board have been working hard to secure a deal.
However – in recent weeks the possible move has stalled because most clubs seemingly do not want to meet the asking price that has been set by the French club, but that has changed in recent says and now Liverpool have agreed to sign Jacquet.
The young French star is coming to LIVERPOOL on a deal worth around £60 million and he is reportedly agreed a contract worth around £100k-a-week for the next four-years, as Liverpool look to solve their defensive issues.
Now that Liverpool have signed the defender, Journalist Julien Laurens has applauded Liverpool’s signing of Jeremy Jacquet and claimed that he will be a superb signing for the Reds when he completes the switch
He wrote on X: “I can’t stress enough what a superb signing Jeremy Jacquet will be for Liverpool! He is a special talent and has everything to become one of the best defenders in the world. And he is Paris born and bred too which makes him even more special!”
IcFootballnews Says…
The lad is talented, he has a big future, he is playing well, all these things could go wrong with a move to LIVERPOOL because he might now be able to handle the pressures of playing for one of the biggest clubs in world football.
But there is no doubt that he is a real talent player that Arne Slot will love, and Chelsea will be fuming that he has rejected a move to Stamford Bridge.
