Everton are looking to complete the signing of Tyrique George on loan from Chelsea.
George, 19, has not started a league game this season and has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
He is set to move to Merseyside for the rest of the season with the option of a permanent move this summer.
A number of clubs have shown an interest in him and his departure from Chelsea has seemed likely.
George was undergoing a medical as Blues defender Axel Disasi was finalising a loan move to West Ham.
