Celtic are eyeing a move to sign former Liverpool and Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, according to Sky Sports.
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been without a club since leaving Turkish side Besiktas, and he's now searching for a club. Thankfully for the English midfielder, who played 35 times for his country, he has plenty of time to find a new club, as he's able to sign on the dotted line after the window has closed.
Oxlade-Chamberlain, who won the Premier League with Liverpool previously, has plenty of experience playing at a high level, but he's been without a club since August 2025. The 32-year-old played 18 league games for Bestikas during the 2024/2025 season, but he was let go before the beginning of the current campaign.

Celtic are reportedly eyeing a move to sign former Arsenal and Liverpool midfielder Oxlade-Chamberlain, who is available on a free transfer, according to Sky Sports. Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently training with the Gunners, while Celtic don't have to force through a move before the 11pm deadline, due to him being a free agent.
Sky Sports claim that Mikel Arteta refused to rule out signing Oxlade-Chamberlain, but it would certainly be a surprise given his lack of game time at a high level. Celtic are now showing an interest, and it could be a deal that gets done after the window has slammed shut.
