An arbitrator ruled that the NBA cannot withhold Miami Heat guard Terry Rozier's $26.6 million salary, overturning the freeze placed after his federal gambling indictment.

Height: 188 cm
Weight: 86 kg
Birth place: Ohio, United States of America
Rozier's pay, which had been frozen since December, will now be released following the ruling, which found that the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) does not allow players to be placed on unpaid leave except in cases of domestic or child abuse.
The decision comes after the Heat and NBA agreed to withhold Rozier's 2025-26 salary – valued at around $26.6 million – following his arrest and federal indictment in October linked to a gambling investigation.
Rozier has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy charges, including wire fraud and money laundering.
Federal prosecutors claim that in March 2023, while Rozier was with the Charlotte Hornets, he told an associate he would intentionally leave a game early. That information was allegedly passed to gamblers, who then bet over $200,000 on the under for his game statistics.
Although Rozier remains on Miami's roster, he has yet to play this season.
He might be involved in a potential Giannis Antetokounmpo trade package.
