It's claimed the Parkhead side are keen on a possible deal for the former Liverpool and Arsenal midfielder, who is currently a free agent.
According to Sky Sports Celtic could make a move to land the 32-year-old following his exit from Besiktas.
Celtic are interested in former Arsenal and Liverpool midfielder Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain.
There is no rush for any deal to be sorted before the transfer deadline, as he's a free agent.

Oxlade-Chamberlain is currently training with former club Arsenal to keep fit ahead of his next move.
Manager Mikel Arteta refused to rule out a shock move for the midfielder at Arsenal to help provide cover after injury issues.

Asked directly if Oxlade-Chamberlain could be signed, Arteta simply said: “We explore every option.”
Due to Oxlade-Chamberlain's free agent status there would be no rush for any deal to be finalised before the transfer window closes.
The window ends for Scottish clubs at 11pm tonight, Tuesday February 2, but free agents can be signed outwith the period.
