Jonathan Kuminga's only future options are to stay with the Golden State Warriors or be traded to the Milwaukee Bucks as part of a possible Giannis Antetokounmpo deadline deal.
Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga's only known potential trade destination is the Milwaukee Bucks, likely as part of a Giannis Antetokounmpo deadline deal, according to NBA reporter Evan Sidery.
With the Sacramento Kings now out of the running after acquiring De'Andre Hunter, Kuminga's options appear to be limited to either Milwaukee or staying with Golden State until the offseason, per the same report.
Kuminga, who signed a qualifying offer last summer, is on an expiring contract. This season, he has played 20 games, averaging 12.1 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.
The Warriors' potential trade package for Giannis could include Draymond Green, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody, Brandin Podziemski, and five future first-round picks.
The Bucks are reportedly intrigued by the prospect of acquiring all of Golden State’s first-round picks and have yet to reject the offer.
