The January transfer window is now officially closed and Liverpool have opted not to add to their senior ranks for the remainder of the Premier League season.

At the time of writing, the Reds remain tying up the loose ends on a £60m deal for Rennes centre-back Jeremy Jacquet, with the 20-year-old defender slated to join the Reds in the summer, should the transfer go through without a hitch.

Jacquet flew into the North West on Monday for his medical after Liverpool fended off interest from Chelsea for the young defender.

The Reds had briefly explored a deal for RB Leipzig's Lutsharel Geertruida but with Arne Slot's former Feyenoord captain already on loan at Sunderland, moving the terms over to Anfield and allowing the Black Cats to source an adequate replacement proved too difficult at the late stage of the window.

Here, the ECHO breaks all the ins and outs of what was a relatively quiet January.

Ins:

Mor Talla Ndiaye (Aimite, £1m)

Ifeanyi Ndukwe (Austria Vienna, £2.6m)*

Noah Adekoya (Burnley, undisclosed).

Out:

Luke Chambers (Charlton Athletic, loan)

Issac Mabaya (Wigan Athletic, loan)

Calum Scanlon (Cardiff City, loan)

Lewis Koumas (Hull City, loan).

*Will join in the summer of 2026.
