Ball was trying to save the ball from going out of bounds, but Lee was in the same spot. The star guard had a cut above his eye, which required him to go back to the locker room. Thankfully, it appears to be a minor injury because he returned.
Ball has no issues with Lee after collision
Ball had a nasty cut above his right eye, but he managed to keep playing. It was not the biggest of cuts, so it did not impact him in the long run. However, it would be a huge sting when Ball just wants to keep playing.
His teammate Kon Knueppel has a similar cut, and he has continued to play well. That is a good sign for Ball because this cut might be only a minor setback moving forward.

After the game, Ball was in good spirits, considering the Hornets just won their seventh consecutive game. They want to keep going, and Ball is crucial to their success due to his playmaking and leadership.
"He went for the ball, and I went for the ball, and obviously we bumped heads. It was unfortunate, but hey, I'm still alive and breathing, so who cares? We got the win, so that's what's most important," Ball said about his collision with Lee.
Even Lee was in good spirits, as he wore a construction worker's hard hat during their post-game celebrations. It was a good reaction to what happened because some people might have blamed either man, but they were having fun.
