Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news, gossip and transfer speculation from deadline day that you Arsenal fans may have missed featuring the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Gabriel Jesus and Osman Kamara…
It has been claimed that Arsenal have made the decision to hand Gabriel Jesus the contract he is looking for after impressing since making his way back from Injury earlier last month.
Mikel Arteta has really built a side that is now capable of winning that Premier League title, they sit top of the tree, and a side that can maybe push on and even win that Champions league title.
However, the rumour mill is buzzing with speculation about potential incomings and outgoings at the Emirates Stadium and there has been alot of talk about the future of Gabriel Jesus, a player that Mikel Arteta has been very loyal too.
It has been claimed in recent days that Italian giants Inter Milan are ready to swoop in and offer him a way out of Arsenal, as his contract expires at the end of the current season, and ARSENAL may be open to the idea of letting him leave.
However – the Brazilian does not want to leave ARSENAL and after impressing over the past few weeks, reports have claimed that Arsenal are willing to sit round the table with Jesus and come to an agreement over a new contract.
The news comes after Gabriel Jesus recently told the club to offer him a new deal so he can fulfil his dream of winning multiple trophies at the club: “I want to extend my contract, I want to stay, I want to win trophies with Arsenal because I came here with that purpose and that’s it.
“But obviously the reality is different sometimes. Sometimes it’s to go another way, but my focus is staying healthy and winning trophies with Arsenal.”

There have been times over the past few seasons that Gabriel Jesus has been quality, he works so hard for the club and puts in some solid performances, but there has been alot more occasions that he is out with an injury.
He is a very good player to have as a back-up, when he is fit, but this is the perfect opportunity for the Gunners to get his massive £250k-a-week wages off the books and add a younger back-up striker to the squad.
ARSENAL may indeed decide to offer the Brazilian a new contract, but at this stage of his career, it may not be worth it.
LOFTUS-CHEEK WANTED AT ARSENAL
Gunners icon Paul Merson has urged Arsenal to consider signing former CHELSEA star Ruben Loftus-Cheek following confirmation of Mikel Merino’s injury that will keep him out for a long period of time.
Merino has made 33 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists, but it seems that his season could be over this campaign’
Mikel Arteta’s current central midfield options include Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard. An injury to any one of that trio would leave the Gunners vulnerable and place their silverware hopes at significant risk.
And amid all the speculation, Merson believes a player of Loftus-Cheek’s calibre would fit the bill perfectly: ‘Oh absolutely worth looking at,’ he said of the 30-year-old AC Milan star who has been linked with a January move to Aston Villa.
‘Loftus-Cheek is a very good player with Premier League experience. That would be a no-brainer. But there’d be a lot of other clubs that could need Loftus-Cheek, definitely.’
Paul Merson’s claim comes after Mikel Arteta came out and revealed that ARSENAL are looking to possibly sign a replacement for Merino: “We had the news a few a days ago [about Merino’s injury],” said Arteta.
“We are always active in every window. We also had the departure of Ethan [Nwaneri] to Marseille.
“We are actively looking at options – we will try to find a solution, but if we don’t we will continue in the same manner we are now.”

Arteta is leaving it very late to try and get a transfer signing done that will come to ARSENAL, improve the squad, and cover a quality player like Merino, we are not sure that he will manage to get the player he really wants.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek seems very happy over in Italian football and to be honest, it would be a shock to see him come back to the Premier League to sit on the bench when he is playing in Seria A
KAMARA MKAES MOVE
Arsenal have now come out and announced that Osman Kamara has joined Championship side Blackburn Rovers in a permanent transfer, after the decision was made to allow him to leave the club this Winter deadline day.
Having initially started out in Sunday League for Senrab FC, Kamara was picked up by Arsenal in the summer of 2014 and was at the Emirates for over 10 years as he looked for a way into that Gunners first team.
ARSENAL posted on the club website: ‘The 19-year-old forward joined us in May 2014 and went on to sign his first professional contract with the club in June 2024.
‘Osman has made a total of 77 appearances for our Academy between under-18 and under-21 level, scoring 21 goals and assisting five times.
‘London-born Osman has represented Sierra Leone at youth level, making his debut in the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations. With three appearances and an assist at the tournament, Osman helped his nation reach the quarter-finals.
‘We thank Osman for his contribution to the club during his time with us and wish him all the best for his next chapter with Blackburn Rovers.
And after sealing his move to Blackburn he believes his grounding with the north Londoners will stand him in good stead for his next challenge at Ewood Park: “I joined ARSENAL when I was nine years old and have been there throughout, playing Under-21s and improving each season,” he explained.
“Being around their first team and seeing their qualities, you know where you’ve got to get to to be a top player.
“Seeing that has only given me the motivation to get better and improve.”

To make the decision to leave ARSENAL after spending so long in the academy was a massive one to take, and to be honest, it was a very good decision from Arsenal to let him leave the club on a permanent basis.
He now has joined a club where he can make an impact and start t0o fulfil his potential as a professional footballer.
