Liverpool have given Arne Slot golden chance to use Academy players
Liverpool’s manager has come under fire for his seeming unwillingness to lean on the many young talents already at the club this season.
Fans want Rio Ngumoha to feature more, while Peterborough United’s chairman slammed Slot last week for not giving an Academy star a chance when Virgil van Dijk needed a rest against Qarabag.
However, now Liverpool’s squad for the rest of 2025/26 has been confirmed, we know the Dutchman is lacking depth in several positions.
In turn, we should now finally see the 47-year-old, even if it’s not all by choice, hand more game time to players like Ramsay, Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni, starting with the Manchester City fixture this weekend.
