Phoenix Suns owner to compete in 2026 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Phoenix Suns will be represented well at this season’s NBA All-Star festivities.

Suns majority owner Mat Ishbia was selected to play in the 2026 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game on Feb. 13 at Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. The game will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN.

Ishbia played college basketball at Michigan State University from 1999 to 2002. He averaged 0.6 points and 0.3 assists while playing just 2.4 minutes per game during his three seasons at Michigan State.

The two competing teams will be coached by Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo, his brothers Thanasis and Alex, Los Angeles Dodgers star Mookie Betts, renowned NBA shooting coach Lethal Shooter, actor Anthony Anderson and NBA development trainer Chris Brickley.
