“Giannis and the Bucks Have Always Worked Closely”: Cleveland Browns Owner Jimmy Haslam…

Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam had a busy day on Tuesday because of the introductory press conference for new head coach Todd Monken. Monken was taking a lot of the questions about the future of this Browns organization and what he visions for the short-term and the long-term. Speaking of Cleveland sports, there have been a lot of rumblings about the NBA trade deadline over the last day or so on Twitter.

Haslam is also the owner of the Milwaukee Bucks. Milwaukee could very potentially trade Giannis Antetokounmpo by the Thursday, February 5th NBA trade deadline. Antetokounmpo is gaging a lot of interest from NBA teams. One potential dark horse team that has emerged in the sweepstakes is actually the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavaliers potentially acquiring him would make Browns fans happy and they would also get to make fun of Haslam once again.

With the media in attendance for the Monken introductory press conference, the media had to also talk to the Browns owner about the rumors of Antetokounmpo potentially being traded. Haslam said about the Bucks superstar player, “Giannis and the Bucks have always worked closely to see what’s best for Giannis and what’s best for the Bucks.” There are a lot of teams that are interested in Milwaukee’s superstar. Other than Cleveland, the Golden State Warriors, the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Miami Heat, and the New York Knicks are some of the teams that are also interested in him.

It is a surprise that teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Houston Rockets, and the San Antonio Spurs have not been mentioned in trade talks for the Bucks superstar. The trade rumors surrounding Antetokounmpo is going to be one of the biggest NBA headlines before the trade deadline on Thursday. Milwaukee is not a playoff team this season and trading the superstar away signals a rebuild. There is no doubt once this goes down, Browns/Bucks owner Haslam is going to be criticized from a ton of fans.
