Milwaukee Bucks injury report suddenly includes Bobby Portis ahead of Chicago Bulls matchup

The Milwaukee Bucks are having, by far, their worst season of the decade this year. At 18-29, they have fallen all the way down to 12th in the Eastern Conference. What is more, they have lost five games in a row and are just 2-8 in their last ten games.

Of course, the constant rumors surrounding 10-time All-Star Giannis Antetokounmpo have only made the negative feelings surrounding the team even worse. Unfortunately, Giannis has been injured for much of the season, which has undoubtedly played a role in Milwaukee’s struggles. That being said, they have not played particularly well with him on the court either.

On Tuesday, the Bucks will play the first game of a back-to-back at home against the 24-26 Chicago Bulls. As has been the case for a while, they will not be at full strength.

Indeed, injuries have been a major issue for the Bucks this season as they have rarely been able to field their preferred starting five. Additionally, multiple members of their bench have and will continue to miss time due to various injuries.

Bucks injury report

Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf strain): Out

Alex Antetokounmpo (G-League/two-way): Out

Taurean Prince (neck surgery): Out

Gary Harris (hamstring strain): Out

Kevin Porter Jr. (oblique strain): Out

Bobby Portis (hip contusion): Questionable

As one can see, Portis was a late addition to the injury report with a hip injury. He has been starting in place of Giannis in recent days, so if he is unable to play, the Bucks will be in an even more precarious position.

That being said, if he is unable to go, it could open the door for new fan-favorite Pete Nance to get more meaningful minutes.

Bulls injury report

Zach Collins (toe sprain): Out

Noa Essengue (shoulder surgery): Out

Josh Giddey (hamstring strain): Out

Kevin Huerter (back spasms): Questionable

Tre Jones (hamstring strain): Out

Julian Phillips (wrist sprain): Questionable

Dario Saric (not with team): Out

Jalen Smith (calf injury management): Questionable
