The eight-time All-NBA guard has been with USPrize.US for a few months, which made him the first-ever Premier Creator. In his role, Harden will co-develop new games that will be added directly to the MyPrize.US collection.
Will the Clippers Trade James Harden?
The 36-year-old former MVP had missed the past two games for L.A. due to personal reasons. Head coach Ty Lue spoke to reporters on Monday and had no insight into Harden’s absence.
"No," Lue said. "I just know he was home in Phoenix and just personal reasons, so I'm not sure."
Sports Illustrated reported that the Clippers are in “advanced talks” with the Cavs in possibly acquiring the future Hall of Famer before Thursday’s trade deadline. The deal would include a swap between Harden and All-Star guard Darius Garland.
Have the Clippers Finally Run Out of Patience With James Harden?
The 11-time All-Star is currently in his third season with the Clippers. Los Angeles acquired the 2018 NBA MVP from the Philadelphia 76ers in 2023. The Clippers acquired P.J. Tucker and Filip Petrušev from the 76ers in exchange for Marcus Morris Sr., Nicolas Batum, Kenyon Martin Jr. and Robert Covington.
Things looked up for the Clippers after acquiring Harden, as he was paired alongside Paul George and Kawhi Leonard. The expectation was that the big three in Los Angeles would finally take the Clippers over the hump. Instead, the Clippers fell short of expectations and have failed to win a playoff series in that span.
Harden has played for five different franchises in his career thus far, and he will likely land with a sixth before Thursday’s deadline.
