In a day filled with trades, the Chicago Bulls and Boston Celtics have made one of significance.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Celtics have acquired Nikola Vucevic and a second-round pick in exchange for Anfernee Simons and a second-round selection.

Vucevic, 35, is in his 15th NBA season and was in his sixth season with the Bulls. In 48 games this season, he’s averaged 16.9 points on .505 shooting, 9.0 boards and 3.8 assists over 30.8 minutes a night.
Simons, 26, was in his first season in Boston. He was acquired in the offseason in a deal with the Portland Trail Blazers, with whom he spent his first seven seasons, that saw Jrue Holiday move the other way. Simons has appeared in 49 contests, all from the bench, and averaged 14.2 PPG on .440 shooting, 2.4 RPB and 2.4 APG over 24.5 MPG.
The NBA trade deadline is set for 4 p.m. ET on Thursday afternoon.
