Hugo Ekitike is the cover star as Chris Smith brings us the inside story on the Kop's new idol and his journey from Reims to the Reds.
Those who saw Ekitike in his early years at Reims said the striker instantly stood out for his height, mobility, gifts and high football IQ.
But he had to endure difficult spells at Paris Saint-Germain and Eintracht Frankfurt - where at one point he was cruelly dubbed Mr No Goals - to earn a move to the defending Premier League champions.
Ekitike has been the star of what has been a testing season for Arne Slot, so much so that the position of the Liverpool boss has come under scrutiny.
And the ECHO's Reds correspondent Paul Gorst and chief LFC writer Ian Doyle debate whether Slot can survive to the summer and beyond.
Gareth Roberts, meanwhile, argues that those above the head coach should also be accountable for the difficult campaign, stating that Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards should help to take some of the heat off Slot by facing the media from time to time.
Our tactical expert Andrew Beasley examines the shift in the Dutchman's approach that enabled the Reds to go on a 13-game unbeaten run, before it was abruptly ended in disappointing fashion at Bournemouth, and comparisons with Rafa Benitez's philosophy.

And as ever there's plenty of nostalgia in this month's offering of Blood Red.
On the 35th anniversary of perhaps the greatest Merseyside derby ever, we look back at the 4-4 FA Cup replay draw at Goodison Park in 1991.
And it is also 25 years since a Michael Owen inspired Gerard Houllier side triumphed against Roma in the Italian capital.
Blood Red is available to purchase in selected retailers in Liverpool from or you can buy online here. Online postage and packaging costs apply.
