After leaving the Minnesota Timberwolves, Mike Conley is at a crossroads in his career.

As the news broke out that he'll be sent to the Chicago Bulls in a three-team deal with the Timberwolves and the Detroit Pistons, Conley is reportedly a candidate for a buyout (per Brian Windhorst of ESPN).

The veteran guard has drawn a lot of interest in the league, in which contending teams would look to add him.

“This is a guy every team in the league would want. He could get bought out for a contender.”

As such, Evan Sidery of Forbes floated the idea of Conley reuniting with the Memphis Grizzlies for perhaps the final season of his career.

The 38-year-old Conley, who spent the first six seasons of his career as a Grizzly, is averaging 4.4 points and 2.9 assists this season in 44 games.
