Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has on Tuesday secured for himself a new career benchmark.
This comes owing to his exploits in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.
Barcelona were of course back in action a short time ago, making the trip to 2nd tier Albacete with a place in the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey on the line.
When all was said and done, Hansi Flick’s troops emerged on the right side of a 2-1 result, to keep hopes of retaining their title alive.
The aforementioned Lamine featured from the off in the fixture, from his customary berth on the right flank.
And the 18-year-old, once again, played a leading role.
As well as creating a whole host of clear-cut goalscoring opportunities, Lamine was responsible for opening the game’s scoring during the first-half.
And in the process, the attacker set a new personal benchmark.
As revealed by statisticians Opta:
‘Lamine Yamal has scored in four consecutive matches for the first time in his 135 appearances for FC Barcelona in all competitions (four goals).’
