Arsenal are going to Wembley!
After a tightly contested second leg at The Emirates, Arsenal scored a late goal to give the Gunners a 4-2 aggregate win and advance to the League Cup final where they will face either Manchester City or Newcastle.
The Gunners had a lead and didn’t need to exert themselves in attack, Chelsea were also not in a hurry to hurt Arsenal and looked to rely on set pieces and moments that didn’t come.
It was Kai Havertz who scored the late goal against his former club to finally put the tie to bed.

Man of the match: It has to be Piero Hincapie for me. He completely shut down Chelsea’s right-hand side, winning 7 out of 8 of his ground duels. In most games Mikel Arteta will sub the left back, the fact he didn’t tonight says it all. Piero was integral to us getting to this final.
