Report: Draymond Green Could Be On Verge Of Being Traded

Believe it or not, Draymond Green's run with the Golden State Warriors could come to an end this week.

Green was selected by the Warriors with the 35th overall pick in the 2012 draft. That turned out to be one of the smartest decisions the organization ever made. Although he might cross the line at times, fans can't deny how stacked his résumé is at this point in his career. He's a four-time NBA champion, a two-time Olympic gold medalist, and a former Defensive Player of the Year.

Despite all of Green's accomplishments in the Bay Area, there's a chance he'll be moved before Thursday's trade deadline.

According to Sam Amick of The Athletic, the Warriors could send Green to the Milwaukee Bucks in a trade that would be centered around Giannis Antetokounmpo. Apparently, Green and his camp are well aware of that possibility.

"Draymond Green and his camp are well aware that the prospect of him being sent to Milwaukee in a Giannis deal is very real," Amick said. "As our Nick Friedell reported Monday, Jimmy Butler has been given indications he's not in it."

Steve Kerr addresses the trade rumors.

During an appearance on 95.7 The Game this Tuesday, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was asked about Green's name being mentioned in trade talks. Interestingly enough, he didn't shut down the rumors.

"I think what's really tricky for Draymond is this is the only place he's ever known," Kerr said. "He's going to have a statue outside the building someday."

Kerr isn't wrong about Green's legacy with the Warriors. His number wil most likely be retired whenever his career is over.

Do you think Green will be dealt before the trade deadline on Thursday?
