Reaves (calf) is now playing for the first time since Christmas for LA.
At last, Austin Reaves is finally good to go for the Los Angeles Lakers.
Ahead of their Tuesday showcase in Brooklyn against the Nets, the Lakers have announced that Reaves (calf) is available to play.
Head coach JJ Redick told reporters that Reaves will come off the bench and have strict minute restrictions.
This will mark Reaves' official on-court play since Christmas Day. Reaves sustained a left calf strain and has missed 19 consecutive games for the Lakers.
As such, LA went 10-9 on this stretch.
Reaves' return couldn't be more pivotal for the Lakers to keep pushing in the West standings. Before going down, the star guard was enjoying a meteoric season by averaging a career-high 26.6 points, 6.3 assists and 5.2 boards.
The looming matchup against the Nets serves as the final stop of LA's grinding eight-game road trip.
