In the wake of ongoing murmurs and speculation, it appears that the Nets are committed to their new franchise star. Fischer indicated that there hasn't been any market movement that involves Porter Jr.
"We’re still being told that the Nets are not actively shopping Michael Porter Jr., and we’re not expecting a Michael Porter Jr. trade by any stretch right now," Fischer said.
"They’re definitely in the mix for salary-dump stuff, but it hasn’t come up right now."
