As the trade involving James Harden officially goes through ahead of Thursday, everyone is watching for Darius Garland to make his LA Clippers debut.
Los Angeles Clippers / Schedule
The Cleveland Cavaliers have sent Garland to the Clippers alongside a second-round pick. The star guard is set to be the franchise's newest centerpiece to join Kawhi Leonard.
While Garland is still nursing a toe injury and his return to court is yet to be revealed, NBA reporter Marc Medina revealed that there is "some optimism" he'll be ready to play with the Clippers after the All-Star break.
Garland missed the early portion of this season as he continued his offseason toe surgery recovery. Before landing in LA, he already missed the last nine games for the Cavs due to a right toe sprain.
He is averaging 18.0 points and 6.9 assists in 26 games this year.
