The Free National Movement (FNM) has ratified an additional 12 candidates for the upcoming general election, including NBA champion and businessman Rick Fox, who got the nod for the Garden Hills constituency.
The candidates were unveiled at the party’s Mackey Street headquarters tonight.
Also ratified was FNM Deputy Leader and St. Barnabas MP Shanendon Cartwright, who will run in the newly created St. James seat.
Jamal Moss was ratified for St. Barnabas.
Dr. Andre Rollins was ratified for Long Island.
Carlton Bowleg was ratified for the second newly created seat Bimini and The Berry Islands.
Jay Philippe was ratified for Bain and Grants Town; Janice Oliver, North Andros; Mike Holmes, Cat Island, Rum Cay and San Salvador; Charlene Reid, Pineridge; Darvin Russel, Centreville; Julian Gibson, Mangrove Cay
FNM Leader Michael Pintard said if elected, an FNM administration would serve the people of The Bahamas every day.
