No one is more excited about James Harden's major arrival to the Cleveland Cavaliers than Donovan Mitchell.

Appearing on ESPN's SportsCenter, Shams Charania revealed that both NBA stars have already talked and expressed enthusiasm about their looming tandem in leading the Cavs.
"James Harden and Donovan Mitchell have already connected. James Harden has spoken with Donovan Mitchell, and both seem very excited about this partnership," the insider noted.
Harden and Mitchell are set to create one of the most prolific backcourt tandems in the league. The 2018 MVP is also slated to help Mitchell ease his workload in carrying the Cavaliers' offense.
With Harden running the point, the potential is off the charts for both Evan Mobley and Jarrett Allen to further excel as Cleveland's twin towers.
At 36, Harden remains durable and an All-Star talent. He arrives in Cleveland averaging 25.4 points, 8.1 assists and 4.8 rebounds this season.
Upon Harden's acquisition, the Cavaliers are officially back on track as one of the top favorites that can win it all this year. They are currently 5th in the East with a 30-21 record.
