Mental strength and resilience is another skill that Estevao Willian can boast in his impressive arsenal of abilities at the age of 18.
Estevao was back in the side just three days after Liam Rosenior had confirmed he had flown home for personal reasons.
The Brazil international was flown back especially for the EFL Cup semi-final second leg against Arsenal, where his second-half introduction was an important part to Rosenior’s gameplan which ultimately didn’t pay off.
Did Rosenior get his tactics wrong against Arteta? 🤔

Despite them not booking their place at Wembley, it has become clear that Estevao is amongst the most important players in the first team squad.

This sees him alongside the likes of Moises Caicedo, who featured for another 90 minutes in midfield at the Emirates.
While his individual performances will never really stand out, Estevao has been full of praise for his Chelsea teammate.
When asked to build his perfect player for ProDirectSoccer’s TikTok, the youngster selected Caicedo as the one he would pick for strength.
Despite him not being towering in stature, it is clear that very few midfielders are on the level of the South American.
Jamie Carragher believes Enzo Fernandez has now also reached that elite level, with him being allowed to flourish more in an attacking role with Caicedo mopping up behind him.
Be honest: If Estevao avoids injuries, is he actually destined to be GREATER than Eden Hazard?

Caicedo has made instant impression on Liam Rosenior
Rosenior has now had eight games in his first month in charge to get a real feel of which players he believes he can build his Chelsea side around, at least until the summer transfer window.
Unsurprisingly, the Ecuador international has been one of those. Rosenior praised Caicedo for how experienced he looks on the pitch despite being just 24 years of age.
Even with the emerging performances of Andrey Santos since the new manager took over, it is still very difficult to start a side that doesn’t include Caicedo.
Whether the partner be Santos, Fernandez, or even Reece James, the former Brighton man remains a crucial part of Chelsea’s midfield setup.
