Warriors’ Draymond Green gives NSFW thoughts on being traded by Golden State

Draymond Green decided to take the fine.

The Golden State Warriors legend didn't want to hold back during his press conference on Tuesday night, so he broke out some curse words.

Why? Green had been asked about the possibility that he had played his last game for the Warriors.

Green has been involved in trade rumors, and the deadline is Thursday. If he's moved, Tuesday was it for him with the only NBA team he's ever known.

"What a f---ing run it's been," Green told reporters. "I'll take the fine for it. What a f---ing run it's been. That's just how I feel."

Green summed it up pretty well.

The No. 35 overall pick in the 2012 NBA Draft out of Michigan State memorized the names of every player taken in front of him, then used that motivation to put together a Hall of Fame career.

Green has made four All-Star teams, won four NBA titles, twice been All-NBA, nine times been an All-Defense selection and earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2016-17.

He's an undersized power forward at 6-foot-6 but helped the dynastic Warriors go with his mastermind-level of defense and his perfect fulcrum role on offense.

Green's stats will never tell the full story of his impact. He's been one of the best and most important players of this era, for the little things and for the loud things, too.

The Warriors, with Jimmy Butler out for the year, might know that next season is their one final chance to chase a run with Steph Curry. Maybe that means Green goes elsewhere.

And if he does, man, what a run.
