The Miami Heat are shifting their trade focus from Giannis Antetokounmpo to Ja Morant, who could join the team soon with Memphis likely seeking a first-round pick in return.
The Miami Heat have shifted their focus to other trades, as a deal for Giannis Antetokounmpo "no longer appears to be a possibility" before the February 5 deadline.

According to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, the Heat are now trying to acquire Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant.
ClutchPoints sources say the relationship between Morant and the Grizzlies' front office is broken, and trust cannot be repaired.
Over the past week, Memphis has significantly lowered Morant's asking price.
For weeks, the Heat have been trying to buy low on Morant, similar to how the Washington Wizards approached their trade for Trae Young with the Atlanta Hawks, per the same report.
Unlike the Young trade, the Grizzlies are expected to want draft compensation for Morant, and they will likely accept the first deal that includes a first-round pick.
"Now that they appear to be pivoting away from pursuing Giannis, Morant is the likeliest star to join the Heat in the coming days," Siegel added.
