The NBA has a blockbuster trade.
The Dallas Mavericks have agreed to trade 10-time All-Star Anthony Davis to the Washington Wizards, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The Wizards will be Davis' fourth franchise, joining the New Orleans Pelicans, Los Angeles Lakers and Mavericks.
In addition to Davis, the Mavs will also be sending Jaden Hardy, D'Angelo Russell and Dante Exum to the Washington in exchange for for Khris Middleton, AJ Johnson, Malaki Branham, Marvin Bagley III, two first-round picks and two second-round picks.
Davis' stint in Dallas was short-lived. He was traded to the Mavericks from the Lakers in the much-maligned Luka Doncic trade prior to the deadline last year, and one year later, he's on the move again.
In total, Davis played in just 29 games for the Mavericks and averaged 20.2 points, 10.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.8 blocks per performance.
More to come.
