Giannis trade decision could drop within 8 hours, say insiders

With 10-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis joining the Washington Wizards, the next big domino could be a trade involving Milwaukee Bucks two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo.

According to ESPN insiders, we could know about a potential Giannis deal within the next eight hours.

"We're going to know if there's a Giannis deal in the next 8 hours," Bobby Marks said. "There's a lot of moving parts here, and I think there's going to have to be a framework of a Giannis-type trade by midnight."

"Minnesota offer they have to put it together. Miami has an offer they could take," Brian Windhorst added. "I think GSW offer is better because of the unprotected picks post Steph, but the Miami offer, which has young players and a couple of draft picks in it, they could take that offer. Especially if Giannis wants to do it."

The Minnesota Timberwolves, Golden State Warriors, and Miami Heat are believed to be the three most aggressive teams pursuing Giannis.

The Bucks have entertained discussions and considered certain trade scenarios, but executive Jon Horst and the front office have not officially declared him available, as reported by Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.

However, recent reports indicate the Heat are no longer in the running.
