Dallas Mavericks shooting guard Klay Thompson is still considered a trade candidate, according to Grant Afseth of DallasHoopsJournal.com.
"Daniel Gafford and Klay Thompson remain the Mavericks' main remaining trade candidates," Afseth reported.
The Mavs could still make moves before the February 5 trade deadline, though their improved financial outlook makes it less urgent to offload salary, per the same report.
The team recently traded Anthony Davis to the Washington Wizards in an eight-player deal that also included draft assets.
This season, Thompson has taken on a smaller role, averaging 11.6 points in just over 22 minutes per game.
The 35-year-old guard is a four-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors and a five-time All-Star.
