Chris Paul might not play again after latest trade

It remains uncertain if Paul will be able to play again this season following the recent Raptors deal.

Despite being moved to the Toronto Raptors, Chris Paul is still facing uncertainty in fulfilling his desired farewell tour this season.

As reported earlier, the Raptors have acquired Paul from the LA Clippers in a three-team deal along with the Brooklyn Nets. For Toronto, it was a move to clear cap space and drop below the league's luxury tax threshold, as they are planning to waive the former superstar subsequently.

Per ESPN's Shams Charania, Paul might not play in the NBA again.

"When I talked to teams around the league, his NBA future is very much up in the air," he said on NBA Today. "It's not certain whether he's play gonna again in the NBA, as of right now."
