Brown (hamstring/knee) is out vs. the Rockets.
Approaching their key road matchup against the Houston Rockets, the Boston Celtics will be without their best player.
Boston Celtics / Schedule
Minutes before their Wednesday clash with the Rockets, the Celtics revealed that Jaylen Brown (hamstring/knee) is out.
The Celtics will play for the second night of their back-to-back, and it appears that they'll let Brown take a breather as he continues to recover from a sore right knee and tightness in his left hamstring.
Brown is averaging a career-high 29.5 points, 7.0 boards and 4.8 assists in 46 games played.
The Celtics are 32-18 and occupying the 3rd spot in the East.
