New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns left prematurely and entered the locker room after sustaining a cut above his right eye following a collision with Denver Nuggets wing Spencer Jones.

With 30.8 seconds left in the first quarter, Towns and Jones collided their heads. The big man fell down and sustained significant damage, as he was bleeding from the incident.

He was patched with a bandage off the bench and went on to shoot free throws. The Madison Square Garden crowd cheered for the franchise center as Towns sank all his foul shots.

Eventually, Towns headed back to the bench and was assisted to the locker room for a laceration.
