Report: Warriors acquire Porzingis from Hawks for Kuminga, Hield

The Golden State Warriors are acquiring forward Kristaps Porzingis from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for forward Jonathan Kuminga and Buddy Hield, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Porzingis, 30, is averaging 17.1 points and 5.1 rebounds a night in 17 games this season for Atlanta.

Multiple reports indicated Kuminga had previously asked for a trade out of Golden State. He is averaging 12.1 points and 5.9 rebounds in 20 games so far this season.

Hield is averaging 8.0 points and 2.5 rebounds in 44 games in 2025-26.
