Alexis Mac Allister has been linked with a move to Real Madrid from Liverpool.

Alexis Mac Allister’s father insists that the midfielder is ‘very happy’ at Liverpool.

The Argentina international has two-and-a-half years remaining on his Anfield contract. Signed from Brighton & Hove Albion for £35 million in 2023, Mac Allister has been a key player throughout his Liverpool career. He was a regular starter when the Reds won the Premier League title last season.

However, Mac Allister’s form has dropped somewhat in Arne Slot’s side’s title defence this campaign. Meanwhile, he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid on several occasions. A recent report from The Athletic suggested that former Los Blancos boss Carlo Ancelotti was keen on signing Mac Allister and he could remain on the club’s radar.

But Mac Allister’s dad, Carlos, says that his son is ‘very comfortable’ on Merseyside. Via WinWin, Mac Allister Snr said: "What I can say at the moment is that Alexis is focused on Liverpool and the current season... Alexis is very happy and very comfortable with Liverpool.”
