Yabusele struggled for playing time under Knicks head coach Mike Brown and was part of off-court drama reported throughout the year. In 41 games, he averaged just 2.7 points and 2.1 rebounds, far below expectations.
The 30-year-old signed a two-year, $11.7 million deal with New York last offseason after an impressive comeback campaign with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2024-25.
Now in Chicago, he has a chance to reset his career and show the scoring and versatility that made him a sought-after forward.
