Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from their Carabao Cup elimination with a win against Wolverhampton Wanderers this weekend.
Liam Rosenior’s side were knocked out of the semi-finals after losing to Arsenal 4-2 on aggregate.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing…
After Saturday’s clash versus Wolves, Chelsea take on Leeds United at Stamford Bridge and will be looking for revenge.
In the reverse fixture, the Blues were beaten 3-1 by their rivals. Tosin Adarabioyo played at Elland Road that night and had a shocker, being responsible for one of the goals his side conceded.

Leeds more realistic than Wolves for Tosin Adarabioyo
Adarabioyo has missed a few games under Rosenior because of injury, but the defender could be back very soon.
According to The Sun, this weekend’s match against Wolves may come too soon for Adarabioyo despite the centre-back returning to training.
However, he could feature in the Leeds game, with Chelsea seeing that as a more realistic target.
It is thought that the Club World Cup winners do not want to rush Adarabioyo back and risk another injury.
Last month, it was claimed that Chelsea were open to selling Adarabioyo in the January transfer window. In the end, though, no offers were made for the former Fulham man.

Chelsea’s likely centre-back partnership for Wolves clash
If Adarabioyo is fit enough to feature against Wolves, he is likely to only make the bench.
Regarding who could start in central defence, then, Trevoh Chalobah is almost certain to get the nod. He has been Chelsea’s first-choice centre-half this season and a very consistent performer.
Wesley Fofana was solid against Arsenal, but Rosenior will have to be cautious with the Frenchman after all of his injury problems. Therefore, it would not be a surprise to see Benoit Badiashile line up alongside Chalobah.

Whoever starts, Chelsea should win. Wolves are bottom of the Premier League table with just eight points. They have a goal difference of -30, so things could get ugly if Chelsea decide to show up.
